The Piedmont Bike Hotel is the first,
true hotel for cyclists,
just a short ride from Langhe.

We had a nice stay of 5 days in this cyclinghotel near Turin.
Gianni and his staff are very helpfull and gave us some good suggestions when we wanted to visit Turin.
The cyclingtrips were wunderfull on the countrysides and hills of Piemonte. A beautiful view on Turin was one of the rewards of cycling the hills of Superga.
Guide Sergio gave us a lot of information about the area and arranged even a airpump from the hotel when one of us had a flat tyre!
It was a Nice combination of haring a nice cyclingtrip and learning Italian.
We had the Giro stay wich is complete package including all food and drinks, cyclingguides, washing your cyclingclothes, use of the sauna and a very excellent winetasting evening at the winery of the family of Gianni!
There is a very beautiful garden and poolarea at the hotel.
Also for families and groups this hotel is a good suggestion!

The rooms and quality of food were good. What made this experience exceptional were the people, service and landscape. David and his team made us feel like kings (and queens). Their attention to detail and desire to please will be difficult to beat. Workshop for bikes is very well equipped. Very nice Bianchi Bikes available to rent.
On one long 120 k ride I casually commented, to our guide David, that the group was starting to get hungry and would the restaurant be open when we arrived. He was immediately on his cell phone. When we arrived, the kitchen had prepared an amazing spread of meat, cheese and wine (no charge).
We have cycled extensively in Italy and Europe, the landscapes and lack of traffic was second to none. Hazelnut orchards , vineyards, snow covered mountains in the distance.

This was our second trip to the Piedmont Bike Hotel in Pralormo. The service in both the hotel and the cycling tour was fabulous. Gianni and his staff provide excellent service at the hotel. Davide and Sergio gave us another spectacular week of cycling. They were able to accommodate all levels of cycling. Highest recommendation.

Just came back from a one-week cycling vacation in Italy and stayed at Hotel Lo Scoiattolo. Highly recommend this family-managed and operated hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff all around; can`t speak highly enough of them. Very nice and comfortable room, satellite TV to follow the Giro, and good selection of very tasty meals. Couldn`t have asked for more to fuel my days spent on the bike cycling around the area. Thanks again Gianni and all your staff for all the help.

Pralormo is a very good place to discover the Piemont by bicycle, very well placed between Torino and Alba. Don`t think that this place is flat, we could make some rides with more than 2`000 m elevation. The guides were very good, taking care of the riders, giving explanations about the places we visited. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the room are ok (clean and big). The ones on the garden side are the best. If you want to have a real italian bicycle experience it is the place to be.

A group of 8 friends stayed at this `Bike Hotel` in early June 2014 for 4 nights. The twin share rooms were clean and quiet, food was very good, and facilities for `bicyclists` were excellent. The three guides, Davide, Sergio and Silvio were all excellent and we had wonderful Italian cycling experiences with them. On one ride we were caught out in a summer storm with hale and lightning, and the hotel sent out a van to `rescue` us. This is an example of how the hotel is prepared to do extra for their guests. I would stay at this hotel again, and it is in a wonderful location to explore the Piedmont area. We were on a half board cycling package, and I consider the hotel was excellent value for the services provided.

We spent 6 days in the hotel and were able to go nearly every day on a cycling tour. I rented a top Pinarello Gan S (the Italian workhorse) but could have rented as well a top Dogma. The combination of hospitality, warmth and charm displayed by Gianni and his team was great. He organized a great wine tasting of the less known Roero wines including dinner in the family winery. The tour guides Sergio and Paolo were not only fit and friendly but very knowledgeable about culture, history and of course wines. All in all a great experience, good hotel, excellent and attentive hotel staff, top guides, top rental bikes and with Gianni a top notch, old school hotel manager who reads every wish from a guests mind. A great thumbs up from Alfredo, Kurt and Shane!
