Aqui está uma foto rara de Gianni "o chefe" antes de um passeio. Mas não o subestime de bicicleta...

Hi guys.
I was born in Turin in 1955 and now I live in Bra, an amazing small town famous for Slow Food, cheese and Gran Fondo, a nice cycling race with really fascinating views of the Langhe hills.
I worked for an important Italian bank for over forty years, and now I’m back to school for a tourism marketing course.
I believe in the benefits of sustainable tourism, in reducing pollution and environmental impact.
I really like sport and I think it is a very good way to fight against stress. I used to go running, but I have preferred cycling in the last twenty years.
My favourite itineraries are the Langhe, the Alps and the roads to the Ligurian Sea.
My favourite wine is Verduno Pelaverga, a local wine from a little village near La Morra.
While guiding cycling tours we often stop in the country to taste grapes, fruit, hazelnuts, cakes and Italian coffee.
…Italian coffee.

Born a few kilometers from Torino, a true sportsman since I was a boy, I've started riding and racing on mountain bikes, my specialty has been the 24 hours solo. Trails, strade bianche or paved roads make no difference for me, the passion for cycling is one.
Graduated in Media&Communication at Torino University, I worked for a few years in a museum before devoting myself to outdoor work as a professional bike-guide since 2011.
My favorite ride? The Colle delle Finestre and the wine roads during falling leaves season.
For some some unknown reason I have an insane passion for bikes of the 80s and 90s, of course in steel. I also strictly respect the Velominati Rule #12 // the correct number of bikes to own is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned...

In 2018 the mileage record between our staff belongs to Diego (here with Salvatore Puccio of Team Sky): he cycled more than 15000 kilometers. Bravissimo!
